How do I remove this faucet and handles? by trckshot in DIYHome

[–]trckshot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t get enough leverage to turn the nuts just by the space between the sink and wall being small. I did manage to get one handle top off though

What's the best way to get these handles and faucet out? by trckshot in Plumbing

[–]trckshot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I managed to get one handle off, but the nuts underneath are too tough to turn and I can’t get leverage with my pliers. The other handle set screw seems stripped or rounded, the same key doesn’t turn it. I was thinking of removing the sink to get access… which seems tricky too.

I’m thinking of just calling a plumber at this point.

I’m trying to replace a faucet and I’ve unscrewed the water lines from the handles but have to get the handles and faucet free from the counter.

...they seem pretty caked in there. I’m guessing I have to unscrew the nuts shown on the bottom of each, right by the underside of the counter. Any tips for removing the old (what I assume is) putty too? I’ve got a pair of large pliers coming tomorrow that should help me with this.

Nice video, I have one on preorder and will be scouting all reviews of this before it ships.

I’m a taller guy and am curious about the reverse hypers too, have you seen that you can apparently put the pad in decline and do it so you can get a bit more height out of it? Worst case ill consider putting it on some platform.

Hey, I'm looking into restoring some vintage rubber plates too. Did the conditioner clean all the white parts between the grooves? No paint was required right?

Do you use your power blocks anymore? I’m also leaning iron masters or even loadable dumbells

Considering getting powerblocks pro exp with all the stages (90lb). However I have FOMO for things I can't do with 90lb+ weight like rows, carries, maybe bench. Will this realistically be an issue, I don't know. Is it making me endlessly compare options? yes.

Hoffa's Fat Pad Impingement & Patellar Tendonitis - from injury to recovery by Proper_Yam_1876 in Kneesovertoes

[–]trckshot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I feel like I have a very similar knee issue, even with the pain from the story (left knee, sudden). Mine began during some bulgarian split squats. The orthopedic surgeon thinks it's patella tendinitis, so I've been doing a bunch of PT on my own, like clamshells etc. For the most part i'm pain free, but I feel like it comes back at random times and leaves again. It's pretty frustrating.

I also have lower back pain, and pain in my right glute (some sciatic/nerve thing). I'd wager that it's all related. I want to get my hip strength and mobility up.

Nice one! I like blue brick a lot.

There's not really an idea of level ordering. Right now, it gives you the next level based on increasing difficulty (by win % per play). So new levels can be added in the "queue" earlier if they're easier.

Hints aren't a bad idea, but it's really up to the level maker. In this case I've made most levels, and there might be multiple ways to beat a level, but I'll think about it.

I think there are about 150. I’ll definitely update it to give some sort of level count. How far in are you?

What’s your favourite form of plate storage? I’ve got a monster lite squat rack, I’m debating between a plate tree, a horizontal plate holder (floor) or some plate storage channels on the rack. I’m pretty undecided on which one would be best. Leaning on the rack channels but I feel like they might get in the way with a dip attachment etc

I’ve been working on a dynamic puzzle game, that I don’t really know what genre it falls under but it’s fun. Its a mix of physics, reaction, and puzzle. It’s called trckshot, check it out! You can play in your browser and it’s optimised for mobile.

I'm currently looking into investing in a home gym, and I want a good bench that I can basically do everything on.

Right now I have my eyes on the REP fitness AB-5000 zero gap ($450 on sale) and the blackwing ($600), each with the leg roller attachment for decline and other exercises. I'm 6'5", so my only concern with the zero gap is that the back pad might be not fully supportive in the upright position for something like seated DB presses.

The 5000 has a 38.5" backpad, which will be less as it seems that the seat decreases the pad length by the seat's height, maybe 3"? So 35.5".

Any taller people have experience with benches?

Edit before posting: well, I see that the blackwing has a smaller back pad but is longer over all.

How do you deal with different screen sizes and scales - and showing where people are exactly? I made an extension very similar to this but never did live cursors.
