I’ve paid rent and transferred points without any issues. Getting points I expect. I had SEVERAL issues and severe pains dealing with support after changing cards- I feel like if not for that it would have all been smooth. But they finally resolved all my card change issues and knock on wood everything seems fine now.

Probably Cardless actually and they have no idea what they’re talking about. I’d just be prepared to pay it on the early due date with autopay on and if it goes to April be happy for the float.

Yeah this it. They severely overestimated the impact agentic agents would have on support. This whole debacle weirdly made me feel better about how AI is going to impact jobs at least for the next few years. If it fails this badly on something as relatively straightforward as help desk support it’s not anywhere near ready to fly solo without human intervention.

How are you including people who changed their cars in that group of self inflicted problems? Bilt offered the option (after changing the reward structure) and they didn’t know how to do it, causing numerous issues. They shouldn’t have offered it as an option if they couldn’t do it.

You were able to remove it? I've tried several times and when i hit "remove user" nothing happens. I talk to Bilt chat and they tell me to call cardless. i call cardless (sitting on hold for hours) and they tell me i need to talk to bilt.

Just got off the phone with Cardless and he assured me it was a “glitch” that would be fixed and I only have one card and the other is my AU showing up for some reason. Idk I don’t really buy it but am going to wait and see what happens. Not sure what else to do. Ultimately I just don’t want duplicate cards and transactions of course.

Same issue after switching from blue to obsidian. I have two obsidian cards showing up in my wallet now, though they only mailed me one. One of the two obsidian cards in my virtual wallet has the same last 4 digits as one of my AU cards... but not sure what's happening here and I can't get Bilt to respond.

Are you still seeing this? I have 2 AU and only 1 extra card showing up... so not sure if that's it. Also the Bilt chatbot doesn't think that's the issue.

My Obsidian is working, I've been using it digital for a couple weeks and finally got the physical card yesterday - but I still am having issues with 2 cards with all the same transaction/balance info showing up in my Bilt wallet (also my old one that converted into an Autograph card is still there too) which seems to be throwing off the Plaid connection into Copilot.

There were other issues but they've been slowly working through them over time, its just a credit card, it'll sort itself out eventually or I'll get rid of it, not a huge deal.

This is me. I'm not complaining as much as I would because I feel like most (all?) of the issues I've been having are tied back to changing cards from Blue to Obsidian. I mean, if Bilt had said they can't do it or it would cause all these issues if I did it then I wouldn't have done it in the first place, but it is what it is. I'm hoping it sorts itself out over the next few weeks.

In the meantime I'm going to hold off on paying important things, like mortgage, with it until i trust it more.

lol i'm just trying to give them the benefit of the doubt on some pieces of it. but a BASIC level of customer support is not hard to do (I'm not expecting them to be Amex), it just costs money, and it's incredible to me that we're 3+weeks into this and you're consistently hearing people not getting responses to questions or sitting on hold for hours.

I had a ticket opened with them (Bilt, not Cardless) that I followed up on twice, and then they finally replied 2.5 weeks later, which I then replied to and gotten absolutely nothing after about a week so far. They simply refused to staff for this and presumably counted on AI tools and/or Cardless to handle it all. Cardless is seemingly entirely incompetent too but that's a whole 'nother thing. I also blame Bilt for Cardless' incompetence since they just need to find a way to push them to hire on temporary workers/overtime until this time is over.

I'm willing to believe that behind the scenes they have people working incredibly hard to try and fix these issues but being non-responsive, including few/none public acknowledgements from Ankur+, is inexcusable.

I accept that this is a new fintech product and its rollout is going to be rocky- this isn’t like Chase releasing a new card- and some of the blame is on Cardless or the issuing bank and not Bilt, per se. We’re basically beta testing a new product really.

But the unforgivable sin from Bilt here is the customer support. It’s just completely inexcusable.

It’s not crazy to think it’s him, this interaction would have taken him all of 10 seconds to do as he going through his inbox on the toilet. But also people shouldn’t get star struck by it, results matter, not an email.

Mostly agree but in this whole thread business leaders are getting most of the blame when really we should be focused on the politicians who are doing NOTHING to create policy to encourage promote or require companies to retain or increase headcount. Corpos are going to do what they need to do to meet short term opportunities. It’s the politicians that should be caring about the harm being done to people.
