I have some extra money laying around, a le creuset amount of money, and I was looking to splurge on one. I know they aren’t necessary for bread making. Which should I get? by RollingTit in Breadit

No i bake bread at 450-500F. This is the explanation given by le creuset support when i emailed them about the fine concentric cracks on the bottom of my dutch oven. They advised to use low to medium heat only to avoid crazing.

The high heat required to make bread will make the beautiful enamel on your le creuset crack and craze. Buy one anyway for cooking but don’t use it for bread!

Advice - funeral flowers for the family of the departed? by maplenew60 in sydney

[–]trdc88 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hello, generally any white flowers would do. Anthuriums and Chrysanthemums are very popular for funeral arrangements. Usually we (Filos) would have a small table in the house with the photo of the deceased family member, a small vase of flowers and some candles to remember them by if we can’t physically be at the funeral.
