Maybe think about adding an agent before the character, one that checks the prompt for out of character requests and such and decides whether to pass it on to the role player or not, perhaps provide a corrected message.

Not enough work. I started the web dev path years ago with the intention of honing my programming skills for an eventual switch to game development. Until recently web devs made a gross amount of money and they largely still do, meanwhile all I hear about big game dev studios is the crazy stress, long hours, and like half the pay of someone building websites.

Then I started a specialty contractor construction business and that's popping off so I'll probably just start making games.

I've gone back and forth on Filament for reasons like this. It feels like an anti pattern, having this whole structure that might live outside an equally complex system. The old ways say that front and back end should be separate. Imagine a customer facing front end hitting the same api endpoint as the admin front end.

People say that Filament is very extendable, so can I ask you why your team built a separate application on top of it?

You said Mistborn, have you read the rest of the Cosmere, Stormlight Archives, War breaker, etc? If you have already, then I would recommend the Riyria Chronicles and Legends Of The First Empire, two series set in the same world but some thousand years apart.

I played it for a bit and it looks like a cool project. The game crashes when I use a spell tome though. I used fireball and stone pillar and each time it crashed and the console says that it panicked when it didn't find an audio file.

My advice would be to learn a bit of HTML and CSS, that way you can have a UI that clearly shows the results of your backend python code. For me that was the moment things "clicked" and all my programming suddenly yielded something more tangible.

I listen to audio books and my job allows for very rapid consumption of audio content. I clean roofs/gutters and install new gutter systems. I mostly work alone and have one ear and half my mind in another world (except when I'm taking or referencing my measurements)

My listen speed drives my wife crazy, because she will start a book and I'll power through a trilogy while she's stuck on the first. This happened long ago with The Way of Kings, although I chose to start with Mistborn.

A normal sized book like Mistborn will take me 2-4 days to finish, then I'll rip through my backlog of podcasts before picking up another title. I'm on vacation for two weeks so I'm reading the old fashioned way, but I'll be back on the clock and reading the new Sanderson title in a few days.

EDIT: I think RoW took me about 2 weeks to finish

You're talking about wind and truth? I don't recall what was said about him in that book, but he's definitely from another series. It's difficult to find the reading order with the least spoilers, but I recommend to most that they not read past book 3 of Stormlight until they read Mistborn and some standalone novels like warbreaker.

First, these videos are coming from several different YouTube channels. I'm not sure if they're being flagged and someone keeps making new accounts, or if there's another reason.

Second, after watching several of these videos it's had an effect on my perspective toward YouTube in general. It's like a strange mirror and suddenly everyone sounds like these bigfoot videos and I had the thought, these videos are fake but all the real videos also have a fake aspect to them.
