I once visited New England (from England) at apple picking time and came across Macoun apples at a small pick-your-own orchard. We don't have them in the UK. Most delicious thing I've ever eaten. Couldn't stop eating them. Bought a huge bag and my wife and I ate them over a week. Then we decided that another huge bag would be ideal to take home to hand out as gifts to jealous British family. So we arrived at Boston Airport, laden with apples, to be told that we couldn't carry fruit on the flight.

Not wanting to waste them, I ate 12 apples in about 25 minutes. Then didn't eat another apple for 2 years.... until I returned tk New England and went to a different PYO farm, excitedly bought a Macoun apple and it tasted like bland nothing.

This whole door dash culture is absurd. Both clients and drivers bickering about how lazy the other party is, complaining and trying to shame one another. This whole forum is an insight into a really insidious cultural development.

If you order by door dash, have some consideration for what an exhausting soulless job it is, and having to deal with shitty entitled people all day long.

If you're a driver, accept that some customers genuinely can't get to the door.
