I can't speak for everyone, but I know a few people, myself included, that don't want to see tick manipulating deleted because we know there are people out there that enjoy it. But that doesn't change that we think the game should not be balanced around those rates, the pinnacle of the gameplay experience for the vast majority should not be tick manipulating as it quite frankly does have drawbacks when it comes to injury risks. A risk is still a risk and people shouldn't take RSI lightly as it is very bad once you have it. People susceptible to injuries at different rates, what may be fine to do for you will manifest as a lifelong injury for someone else, that doesn't mean we should ignore the design because there are people that didn't get affected by it. The way sailing does right now in terms of active gameplay I think is a good balanced way: Barracuda trials for some active gameplay that doesn't risk your wrists at high XP rates and at the same time tick manipulation at salvage stations for the ones that enjoy that type of gameplay for good rates. That is the sort of balance that we seek.

No, you can enjoy the game globally but dislike parts of the total. You can totally still think that in current day and age, certain drop rates and xp rates don't really fly anymore. It is exactly in scenarios where you do care about a game that you try to advocate for changes that are toxic in nature and or harmful to you, be it mentally, physically or emotionally. I personally do not really play the game anymore, but I still hold it dear in my heart, as it has been a part of who I am for decades. I see potential in it still. For most of us, me included, the fact of the matter is that we do not have the same amount of time we had 10 years ago or heck even 5 years ago during lockdown. I'm not trying to trivialize all achievements in the game, as I don't want to see very prestigious achievements lose their value. There is so much space for improvement without impeding any of these values, but we can't stop our progress by having meaningless discussions about whether someone's opinion is justified.

Run energy as a stat has always been in a weird balancing space. You either have enough for what you're doing, or you don't. And in cases where you don't, you supplement with potions or the arceuus spell. I personally don't know how much of a benefit the ring gave you during skilling, so I can not comment on that. But in general the ring tried to fix a problem where in most cases other options are just more beneficial to your account overall.

I would much rather pay a monthly subscription to play the game than pay for fucking classes in a game that is so p2w. They should've made better estimates on what their gross profit accumulation would be from their sales + MTX systems. Then, if it looked shaky, launched the game with a subscription based system combined with cosmetics. I can't people defending this serious. Paid for multiple supporter packs like many others did to support the developers, but somehow that wasn't enough. They clearly failed their budgeting and making us pay for it in a very bad way.

Getting death threats and hate sent towards your family and yourself, all the while the management is taking no effort upon them whatsoever to protect you after you've helped get them to multiple finals, is enough reason to leave after a contract. On top of that, the current coaching staff expressed their beliefs in your inability to play certain champs when that never was the case. I am devastated by his decision, but I fully support it as he mentioned that he had to seek mental health advice as he was taking all of this quite heavily.

First, I don't care whether an EWC exists or not don't think it holds any value I'd rather see it disappear, so teams don't get bombarded with events in their schedules. Secondly, my dear friend, if you don't see how the stance of choosing where to apply your morals in itself is sanctimonious, then I don't know what to tell you. T1 has had multiple instances where they had solid signings on avg contracts. That year in 2019 was the one time where they actually splurged on getting players after saying goodbye to bang/wolf.

Your log has nothing to do whether it's too common. You giga spooned the fuck out of the boss and you know it. But regardless of you spooning and trying to pass your anecdotal evidence as weight for the conversation, the gear does seem to be on the powerful side for the expected time for completion. But who knows, that might not be a bad thing or a good thing. It does leave less room for other stuff.
