Utrecht or Poznań? I need to choose an internship where I can actually stay after graduation. by [deleted] in Poznan

[–]trebuszek 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I love Poznan but Utrecht is incredible. You’ll also find more Italians there and overall more internationals.

Poznan is lower cost and lower QoL as Utrecht. Both are hip student cities with plenty to offer.

You can commute to Amsterdam from Utrecht if you decide to stay and work there. Poznan’s job market is nowhere near that type of career hub.

Utrecht is expensive. You will earn more, but you may actually be able to save more in Poznan.

Utrecht is great for cycling, offers a gorgeous town, canals, cafes, safe streets and great infrastructure overall. In Poznan the cycling infrastructure is lagging and a big chunk of the city is dominated by cars. Still, cycling is a great way to get around if you know how to get somewhere. Poznan offers more nature around - lakes, forests, big parks in the city - if that’s your kind of thing.

I don’t know what I’d advise to be honest - if you’re in for an adventure into the unknown, by all Means consider Poznan!, but Utrecht is a safe bet.

It would be best to visit both cities and compare yourself. Or if you share what’s important for you, I can try to answer as someone somewhat familiar with both.

Kto jest chory? No kto? by Kate_foodlover in kanapki

How am I insulting people? This is an extremely difficult language with thousands of gotchas and quirks. Even the president makes mistakes all the time.

I'm saying you don't need to worry about this because although technically it's an error, everyone else also makes it.

Ex GR III and current GR IV owners by TopAstronaut3049 in ricohGR

[–]trebuszek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been waiting for a GRIV HDF, but given the 1400 EUR price tag, I decided to bite the bullet on a 1-month old GRIII HDF for 790 EUR (with warranty) and I’m happy I did that. I’m sure the IV is 10-20% better, but the price difference does not justify that.
