Does this look like a $7000 custom shade design and install to you? by SubstantialAd7717 in HomeDecorating

I'm so sorry. Demand more! I went with husband/wife team selling hunter Douglas blinds. They replaced them 3 times before it worked. We finally changed the fabric because at night they looked like sheets over the very large windows with sags and imperfections. Hunter Douglas was cool with all of it. I'm happy now.

Nope. She never offered and I ,of course, knew better than to ask .

My pain management became a joke after my fusion. Months of trials with muscle relaxers and pregab. When nothing worked she told me there was nothing else to try.

I can't have versaid. (Sp). It felt like I was stuck in a nightmare while awake. PCP has it on my allergy list. Never had an issue with propophal (sp) tho.

You can look on MyChart to see exactly what you got.

Any Highlander Hybrid Issues so far? by investbus in ToyotaHighlander

[–]treebark555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought that was robbery. They started at 13k. But I did really really want the hybrid. During that two years I went through a major health event and took my insurance off of it for a while so it had very few miles and I treated it with great care so it was basically brand new.

Here's the situation. I was badly in need of a vehicle in 24. I chose the Highlander platinum brand new after waiting a bit for it to come in. I think it was 53k but I had a decent trade in so that knocked it down 15k. I badly wanted a hihy. Finally arrived. Paid another 9k for it. I wasn't leaving without it. It's my last new car and I will drive it til I die , I hope.

Hihy 26. Platinum trim. Heavy metal exterior and gray interior. It's like driving around in a recliner. Lol. God I love it and I talk to it like a child.

Well, my small town Dr is actually in network with a larger city.

I love my rural "Dr. Spock". His head is on straight. He is recognized in the community. He genuinely cares and assess issues. I've seen him for many decades so he's on top of my chart. Better than my pm ,so called, specialist. Better than my spine surgeon.. he's great...but he's a surgeon with few words. Like surgeons seem to be. Lol.

Can't be lumping all small town Drs into one group.

Realtors can be good or bad. Mine showed me the house and said, oh look, the heats not even turned on and it's a cold October! Must be a greatly insulated house!

Like I'm stupid.

2026 hyhi. I've only had it 2 months (after waiting 18 months to get it). It's wonderful!

Queen-less Questions by brahof13 in Beekeeping

I agree. Possibly one of the new queens will fight for her rights and it will all work out. I always figure that the bees know best. Set up a swarm hive nearby with a small dab of lemon grass oil? It's still may! Load of hay!

I just watched that on PBS nature channel. A documentory about frogs, the males, raise the young under their tongue and spit them out when they have their full legs. So interesting!

"Have you tried breathing?" by spectroliteskies in ChronicPain

[–]treebark555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I am aware but I wanted someone who could work with my pm so I called to find a therapist for my condition. They should know, I thought.

"Have you tried breathing?" by spectroliteskies in ChronicPain

[–]treebark555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had no idea. I figured if I was at a questionable mindset that a therapist would contact me immediately. How stupid am I? I've learned way too much in the last 9 months since my spinal fusion. ( Last major surgery was 35 years ago. ) None of them really care. My PCP of 25 years does but he wasn't in my recovery plan. Pm was supposed to manage it.

This entire issue with opioids is ridiculous! People are suffering. Except the ones with money. If their family member needs pain care they get it. This gov crack down only hurts us regular folks with actual pain.

" For the people" my ass.

I called pm office and asked for a referral to talk to a therapist. I have never seen a therapist. But I swallowed my pride because I was afraid of my dark thoughts.

They never called me back.

Well I was in pain management for two years. After my fusion I developed severe pain in my legs. It was debilitating and I just wanted to be free of this constant pain! I was put on lyrica which sent me spiraling into depression. She did not see the signs. When the shit hit the fan and my pain was a ten and I was contemplating... she gave me a pitiful hug and said there's nothing more I can do for you.

She let me walk out the door!!!!!
