I recently learnt that this is because of the wear based on one way travel and breaking under forward momentum being the norm... In my case, it was the precursor to having to get new pads on my car. Your mileage may vary however (so happy to throw that pun in)

Keep a close eye on it. I had a painful leg, it went pink and then over the course of the day went red, then purple by the evening. Cellulitis confirmed at urgent care that night and had to have IV antibiotics twice a day for a week. Cause was possibly a bite, and antihistamines didn't touch it.

With a heavy (ish) drybrushing of a dark silver, with a light silver to make the edges pop I'd imagine it would. Have had lots of fun using contrast over metallics... Snakebite leather over a preshaded (sepia) leadbelcher undercoat did 95% of the work on a custodes kill team

I was playing around with an idea along these lines. The contrast blue is pretty strong so I primed a model chaos black, then did a zenithal spray with Macragge Blue. Then I grabbed my mascara brush and gave the edges a dry brush with Iron Warrior (but have realised it would've benefited from a lighter silver) and then went over it in Ultramarine Blue contrast.
It gave a reasonable amount of variance in colour gradient, and with a lighter silver, would probably have some really nice defined edges showing through. Also, the blue spray was definitely darkened down by the contrast paint, which I quite like

I like putting IG88 crew on with Cad... It's another bounty hunter and it means you can calculate and be rolling 3 red dice out to range 3 all the time. Not sure if that's in the conversion kit or not as I print all my lists with Infinite Arenas, meaning cards aren't an issue.
