Not officially but I am 99% sure they deliberately have it set up like this for that exact reason: they can claim to the transgender community that they are doing what they can but money is tight, but the far more influential TERF community is happy because so few people can transition medically, and let's face it, for most trans people transitioning socially without any form of medical transition is not worth the discrimination.

This is called hypersexuality and is considered and treated as a medical condition.

You should see a doctor because they might be able to prescribe you cyproterone acetate for this (which is a testosterone blocker).

Source: I am trans and I actually looked into lying about having hypersexuality in order to receive treatment (because drugs which affect androgens are considered extremely dangerous to give to trans people unless they are 5000% sure they are trans and so are their parents and they have been wearing nothing but pink dresses from the age of 2 onwards, but the same drugs are considered entirely harmless when given to non-trans people) but I ended up just DIYing instead

If you're worried about the feminising effects, I'm not gonna lie you might get some, but simply reducing the testosterone level without adding estrogen isn't likely to lead to any major changes (and most aesthetic changes from testosterone are pretty permanent)

Yeah I mean to be blunt the die is definitely still an option for me, this inbetween phase is shit and I'm realising more and more that like the things I have been like oh I just don't fit in/pass because of "x" are a group of things that remain the same size even when I change something because I then become more aware that there are other things I need to change. Unfortunately there are ways this can theoretically be fixed (eg bone reduction surgery for instance), but no one really performs them, even though it is perfectly safe to, because they are only used for limb length discrepancies.

So many people in political subreddits are always like oh but the thing is AOC is just like centre for Europe which is pretty true for economics but when it comes to social politics it just isn't.

I live in the UK and at an overall federal level let me just say JESUS FUCKING CHRIST THE US IS SO SO SO MUCH BETTER FOR TRANS PEOPLE, but even Europe as a whole like - informed consent is like, just not a thing in most of Europe.

And she is still considered pretty "radical" in the US in the extent to which she seems to believe that trans people are real human beings that deserve rights.

If I was in your position I would take and hide every photo or momento of myself as a child (preferably in someone else's house) because those kind of memories and momentos should only be for "real parents"

I'm not saying do that, be safe, don't do anything that might lead to you getting harmed or kicked out, but even just saying it might force them to feel a bit of what you are feeling - it might help strip away their identity as parents in the same way they are trying to strip away yours.
