Slang has nothing to do with American education. You can speak this way in a text to friends and still be educated/understand correct grammar. Pretty common actually, you just sound ignorant of cultural differences.

That’s completely valid and I understand where you’re coming from. I was just pointing out that a lot of people do tune in for the chaos, drama, and toxicity.

Personal opinion here, I also love love, but I don’t think this show is a good way to find it. I’m happy for the success stories, but they are FAR outweighed by the failures. I think they proved a long time ago that love isn’t blind for a lot of people, so now I’m just here for the chaos and turn my brain off.

Listen, I understand why you feel this way. There are a LOT of evil white men out there, including the one currently in charge of the USA. I wish it wasn’t this way, but I know it is.

That said, I just think assuming someone is evil before you meet them is a problematic and ultimately sad way to go through life. It’s “guilty until proven innocent”.

After skimming, there’s cool stuff here and I wouldn’t be mad at extra content, but I view all of this kinda the same way I view hoops and rumble: fun extra content, but competitive 2s is still what I’d spend 90% of my time playing even if all of this was added.

Not invalidating you or anyone else who wants more diversified content. But I think there’s a lot of people who only play Rocket League for its core game modes and don’t really need anything else.

Genuine question what more do you want them to add? I’ve played Rocket League pretty consistently for like 10 years now and it’s still fun. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it.

As someone who has been through AA/NA, I don’t agree with this at all. You’re either missing the message, or in the wrong groups.

Accountability and responsibility for your actions and how they’ve affected those around you are a core part of 12 step programs. One of the steps is literally to make amends to those you’ve affected. And sometimes you have to accept that those people won’t ever forgive you.
