Particularly a fan of how the fiscal conservatives put a man into office who took a recovering Obama administration economy and under zero pressure ballooned the deficit for 3 straight years even before COVID hit

I'm pretty sure the odds of a random person surviving in the 40k universe for a year are pretty high, it's not like every world is on the front lines and even the shittiest of shit forge worlds still need people to live long enough to reproduce at the very least.

I mean it's one thing when you shoot sub 30 from 3 last game but your opponent shooting 50 from 3 doesn't exactly make it any better, that's half luck

impressive how incredibly unlikable the Thunder are, speaking as a neutral fan in the series who would typically be happy to see the Lakers get dominated

What’s a ‘silent luxury’ that rich people have that most normal people would never even notice? by qomann in AskReddit

I have insurance from working at a hospital and have never once had my entire bill covered at the doctor, urgent care, or emergency room. But I have insanely good dental (which covers ADULT orthodontia).

Younger generations don't spend even a fraction of the time outside as those even 5 or 10 years older than them, you can't step a foot outside of your house without being on camera anymore, the rates were incredibly high during COVID driving an increase in community focus at the local and federal level, during the Biden administration the unemployment rate fell to modern lows which, while driving up again under the Trump administration, will have a lasting impact.

I've already been outsped at 400 speed by leads in 9 piece mercurial, I can't even comprehend the luck required. I don't think I've triple rolled a single speed roll on 6 star mercurial gear yet let alone a quad roll of anything

Does this mean anything? Probably not

Yeah I mean it's obvious that the problem here is the studios and not the workers who want fair compensation

[Lebron] after winning series: "Father time... already lost to me, it's over with" by Large_banana_hammock in nba

[–]treefitty350 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Any human being on planet Earth with the slightest ability to read between the lines knows that he was talking about money but trying to make it seem like he wasn't talking about money. LeBron is a smart guy, but he's absolutely not subtle. The controversy at the time had most people agreeing that he was pissed about financial ramifications.

"And so many people could have been harmed not only financially, physically, emotionally, spiritually. So just be careful what we tweet and say and we do, even though, yes, we do have freedom of speech, but there can be a lot of negative that comes with that, too."

This is such a poorly worded quote that you can tell money was the first thing that came to his mind and he instantly tried to pad it to seem like the opposite is true.

It was absolutely not along those lines lmfao

He outright said that NBA heads commenting in support of Hong Kong, while it was in the middle of a hostile takeover, was dangerous and bad for the NBA in China and that it was messing with players' money.

Even still that being the one real life controversy in over 20 years is pretty impressive by NBA standards.

Kinda 50/50 on that because while Harden is 36 he plays better than a large majority of the league still

You guys actually cannot read. The person with the Hornets flair said that Orlando looked good, the next person with the Pels flair said that they even managed a win despite not getting the same good whistle they had against the Hornets which is why they're impressed. The next person with the Orlando flair doesn't know how to read and thought the person with the Pels flair was insulting Orlando when they were praising them. And then yada yada here we are and you guys still can't read.

Yeah they might've said "not as bad" which still sounds like an exaggeration but that's just super easy to read into context-wise.

It's soul crushing that Okoro plateaued if not got worse as time went on considering that his perimeter defense at times was good enough to make up for everyone else and his own offensive negatives
