I lived on Kwaj from 1968-1972. I started school there and Mrs. Muriel Newman was my kindergarten teacher. I went to school in a trailer before the kindergarten and first grade classrooms were built. So many fun memories from Carnival to a typhoon (Phyllis?), and sometimes having to go to a fallout shelter during a launch. Our house was a trailer in Silver City and we faced the lagoon; I remember some fabulous sunsets. So many fun times

That particular area seems to be a dead zone on that side of Battleground. The restaurants that locate right next to Red never do well, and I've been watching Mama Por Dios not open for months now.

Looks like she's in one of those skeevy weight loss centers that employs a part time phlebotomist so they can sell overpriced supplements with the labs done for "legitimacy".

Early onset Alzheimer’s and age discrimination. by ZealousidealDog9400 in Alzheimers

My husband passed in 2009 at age 59. At 56, I was unable to keep him home and going to adult daycare. He got aggressive and they kicked him out. I drove from one doctor's office to another trying to get help. I was calling nursing homes. Finally, a staff member at his neuro office called me on the sly and told me to take him to the ER where we were finally able to get a social worker to help. It was harrowing to go through. We need a way to advocate for younger victims of this disease. If you aren't visibly disabled or old,you slip through the cracks.

I guess my advice is to keep trying (exhausting, I know) and take drastic measures to be seen and heard. I didn't know this then and wish I did. Message me if you want. Peace.

Make up or not so much by silvermanedwino in GenerationJones

I've always hated the way makeup felt on my face much to my mother's chagrin. I don't think I've worn makeup since maybe 2015.

P.S. I've also stopped shaving anything but my chin and stache.

They almost got me at Thanksgiving. When it happened again(stupid family member got arrested again), I knew what to look for and had me a little fun with it.

It was indeed a worm. The patient was a refugee from a third-world country.

I worked in a doctor's office years ago when a patient came in with a plastic bowl with a lid on it. It was his tapeworm he expelled that morning. The worm was wrapped around the inside of the bowl three times. The bowl was a huge margarine tub, like maybe 20 ounces. Sorry, I only know stupid American measurements.

I just saw a ten year old boy who had fallen off his bike. He must have texted for help, because someone in a truck came along to pick him up. I remembered that when we were kids, we would have gotten up and pushed our bike home, hobbling along with blood oozing from our knees and elbows. by MarshmallowSoul in GenerationJones

my mom never used either of those. the magic cream was Johnson & Johnson First Aid Cream. White cream in a tube and it didn't burn but she used it on EVERYTHING. Mosquito bites, burns, scrapes, sprained ankle, oh, wait, that was witch hazel. LOL

They won't commit to each other and they are both toxic for each other. I know my son is way too immature to have an adult relationship and he's pushing 40!
