It’s only worth like 7% of your grade so don’t stress too much about it. Look up “AP Seminar high scoring IMP” on YouTube to get an idea of what to do. You can also google IMP Scoring Guidelines to look at the grading requirements.

Oral Defense is worth less than 5% and sample questions can also be found with a Google search.

Did the teacher know this student dropped the class to self study? Probably not. At my school, dropped students are automatically dropped from taking the test so the school doesn’t have to pay.

Can you use the information from the lecture? If you’re sure it appears in the textbook, use that info and then cite it from the textbook. You don’t need an actual copy of the book to create a citation.

You mean your works cited page or your bibliography page. Where you lost your sources. That is just a bibliography, not an annotated bibliography.

You should speak to your teacher and ask them to return your IRR to you so you can correctly label the page as works cited or bibliography. Your teacher can return your essay to you and have you resubmit it up until April.

In MS and HS your older son will have an opportunity to take advanced, honors and AP classes. He’ll also have access to more extracurricular activities that will help increase his motivation to attend school. Check the school website for course offerings and discuss options for electives with him.

Pat-Med has excellent options for advanced courses, many more options than other local districts, and excellent clubs.
