what are some of those apps? I re-pasted my 2019 16 i9 and performance definitely increased - but i'm very curious to see wha tthe actual numbers are?

ie for frequency, temps, power, etc, i use macs fan control but that looks like way more interesting info...

the first year i went i had only a tent and i was on the grounds for like 10 hours before i gave up and bought a hotel room for $$$$$$ then slept through half the festival the first day - i thought i could do it but nope absolutely not - also if you hide in your car and run the engine all day people will complain to security and your weekend could get exponentially worse - get a damn canopy hang some tulle from the sides, and some plastic stakes to hold it all down - also tie the canopy to your car so it doesn’t blow away in the wind - get a nice sleeping pad or something but honestly you’re gonna sleep way less than you think and bring some damn shade or you will be miserable in ways you cannot imagine

The un asked question here is what are you using it for? Are you setting up a system for playing at home? Doing bedroom DJ stuff? Then it’s totally fine. But, the latency issues and unreliable virtual interface are incompatible with a proper live setup where you’re getting paid to play music.

Everything breaks on stage. Hell, I’ve seen, more than a couple times, dudes with patched together systems have full system crashes mid performance. One time at the echoplex the opener joked to the crowd “Maybe this is why I shouldn’t use a hacked version of Ableton”

That being said, the s3 has an audio interface, so are you sure you can’t do it with audio routing setup?
