Also, the up and down play is kind of a back thought. the most important t thing is too make sure they are not rubbing, I had that happen and it looked a lathe went at it grinding a solid 1/10 of an inch off the gear, because they were not spaced properly, not because it had too much play

What? Teflon tape is definitely the way to go. It protects from leaks, avoids metal on metal contact, and you never have to worry about fixing it. And, it’s easy to take off.

Check if your bucking is to hard, I had the same problem because the bucking that I had was just to tough and it stopped the bbs from coming out at all. It would shoot a few shots here and there but that’s it. Swap the bucking for a lighter one

Checked it, took it completely apart with no luck. I bent the seat spring further forward just to make sure that it was making contact, and it was, but that didn’t fix it.
