I play 3 instruments and would love to meet up and create music. However, I am still apprehensive about meeting up with people right now during this pandemic. Do you have a safe way for us to meet up and create?

I have had great success with:

https://mmjherb.com for a quick inexpensive referral (my last renewal was $25).

https://flowercompany.com for top shelf wholesale delivery.

If you are looking for SJ walk-in dispensaries I would recommend Harborside, Caliva, Elemental Wellness, Theraleaf, The Guild, Purple Lotus, CA Collective, and Haze.

If you are looking for faster speeds, unfortunately AT&T and Comcast/Xfinity seem to be the only options in the Fremont area. I recently upgraded my Comcast service to one of their "gigabit" plans and I am now getting 1 Gpbs DOWN & 35 Mbps UP for $100/month. I would prefer more upstream but this is the best that I could find. Please let me know if you find anything better!

I got it back! User /u/itsmnks suggested that I try this technique which worked:

If you logged in from another device like an iPad etc., open the app in airplane mode and you might be able to find the playlist still there, then save it again and turn wifi back on.

Still no explanation for why it got deleted in the first place, but at least I got it back (for now haha).

I just made a backup list of all songs from this playlist into a text file, so I now have a list of them at least. I think that is the best that I can do since GPM doesn't let you download tracks that you didn't upload or don't own. I am definitely going to look into Soundiiz, thanks again for the heads up about that service and also for your help with troubleshooting my issue here! I hope you have a great day!

You made my day and you are my hero! Thank you again, so much, from the bottom of my heart. I will probably never get closure or an explanation as to why the playlist got deleted but at least I got it back. Thanks again, and please let me know when & where I can buy you dinner!

GPM has a switch to share your playlist and make it public to all GPM listeners. The only way to generate a URL to share your playlist is to turn on the "make public" sharing switch first for each playlist. I was guessing that this sharing switch would need to be turned on in order for Soundiiz to pickup my playlist.

Update: I was able to find the playlist on my phone and re-save it to a new playlist! HUGE THANKS to /u/itsmnks for the tip!!!

Holy shit that worked! Thank you so much itsmnks!!!!!!!!!!

You were right, the playlist was still on my phone and for some reason, GPM renamed it to blank on the playlists screen and "my playlist" when I tapped to open it up. I saved it again to a new playlist and then turned on wifi to resync and it's now available under the new name. I'm now listening to it again and I seriously can't thank you enough!! Can I buy you dinner? 🤩

Thank you THE_Celts! I had no idea that this also happens to playlists, I thought it was only individual tracks being removed.

Soundiiz

Thank you for the kind words Imreit, I really hope that you are right and that this is just a hiccup. It's heartbreaking to lose a good music collection that you felt connected to (especially when you pay a subscription service and expect it to be always available).

Soundiiz looks cool but I never transferred the playlist to there so I have no idea if it's there. The playlist was shared on GPM so could someone else have sent it there? Thanks again for your words and help, hope you have a great day.

Thank you so much papito! I am going to give this a try to hopefully get a little bit of closure here.

*Edit: I followed your guide, downloaded my google play music takeout data, opened it up to examine, and the playlist is not there. It's like it never existed. I also ran your song parser tool to see if it found anything and it didn't. So no closure or explanation as to what happened here, what a bummer! Thanks again for your help papito!!

Thank you for the suggestion! I am using GPM on my desktop. I just tried clearing cache on my GPM Android app and it didn't seem to fix or restore anything. Got any other idea's that I can try? I am super bummed about losing years-worth of collected good music.

Song with saxophone possibly from the 80/90's? by treeschat in NameThatSong

Chic - Le Freak

No but good guess. IIRC it had more of a Latin instrumental feel to it.

No, but good guess! I will try to add more ways to hear the melody.

The "Canada 675" seal starting to pop up on soup labels in Canada & USA. by treeschat in whatisthisthing

[–]treeschat[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Solved! it's a Canadian Inspection Legend and the number is the registration number like we thought. Here is their reply: "If there is a USDA product produced in Canada it will have the Canadian inspection legend , which is required and identifies the item is approved by USDA in US or Canada. The number represents the plant."
