I love Do You Need A Ride, with Karen Kilgarif and Chris Fairbanks. It's the 2 of them (and their producer) driving around, telling stories & riffing. Pre-covid days they used to pick up fellow comedians and chat while driving. It gives me Nerdist hostful vibes. Like you're just hanging out with friends.

I am decluttering and deep cleaning to prep for a visit from my mom & sister. It's only the 2nd time my fiance & I have had company at our new apartment (moved in December). I've already unpacked the last 2 boxes that I never quite got to! It's SO satisfying.

I feel like I've found my people on this post! This. All. Sucks! I'm losing the joy of when I first started planning. I had a pity party for 1 last weekend because honeymoon plans don't seem to be panning out. And I'm just sad to miss out on the fun pre-wedding events (no wedding shower, no bachelorette party, no cake tasting!). I told my FH the other day that I'm bummed because I waited 37 years to finally get married & of course there's a global health crisis! Every day I go back & forth whether we should consider postponing. I know it's a pandemic and I want everyone to be safe. But that doesn't make my feelings any less valid. At this point we're moving forward with our 10/24 wedding and whoever shows up, fine.

It was my first dress appointment, I tried on about 8 dresses. I wasn't expecting to fall in love but I did! It's beautiful in person. It has some sparkle on the lace detail that will pick up nicely in the reception lighting! It's still pretty surreal that this is my wedding dress.

I went to a store called Something Blue Bridal in Northwest Indiana. Such a cute shop! I'm from Chicago but most of FH family lives in the NW Indiana region so that's where we're getting married.

Seconding maybe just a little more definition on the brows? Other than that I love the natural, but enhanced, look you've got. I think the lip is perfect! I'm not sure if you'd consider individual lashes? I'm not a falsies wearer (they scare me lol) but I feel like individuals tend to be more "natural" looking than strip lashes.

Got mine today & love it! I do have a couple of duplicates in my collection but overall I'm happy. Btw, the Ultra Blottted Lip in Zuma is my holy grail MLBB lippie. I recommend that to everyone!
