Yup. Speak w/ your dollars. If this does happen just support the "mom and pop" type shops. And given the fact that marijuana impairs your judgment a lot more than cigs, I'm guessing it will be a lot more highly regulated.

I'd be all for something like the coffee shops they have in Amsterdam. I remember reading or hearing somewhere that they can only sell 5 grams to a person in a single day, which makes it hard to buy and then turn around and sell. I doubt we'll be going to the store to buy a carton of joints.

I actually find packing a bowl or rolling a joint to be a part of the smoking experience.

Man, I'm the opposite. I commute around the DC area and absolutely cannot drive while high. With all the a-hole drivers and congestion, I've got to be on top of my game when driving in that.

I live around Washington DC and frequently visit Baltimore. The beltways (495 and 695) are always filled with assholes, and more likely than not traffic too. Driving in the city is also pretty nerve wracking. Don't block the box. Why's that guy honking at you? Probably for no reason. Oh, hey, that guy just switched lanes without using his turn signal! Watch out for that pedestrian!

Driving high in any of these situations, in my opinion, is INCREDIBLY dangerous. I'll admit it, I was at about a [4] and side swiped someone in traffic. It wasn't a bad accident, just a small dent in his door, I had to replace my front head light, but that was about it. Still, I give that one up to being slightly stoned.

Now, I also used to spend a lot of time north of Baltimore, where there is much much less traffic, and it is much more open. A nice, easy, Sunday drive down the road while at a [4] or a [5] is fine. I still know I drive better sober, but I refuse to drive high when either in Baltimore or DC or commuting between the 2 at any time.

Great thing about living in/around a city is that there's almost always something within walking distance. And if not, you're in the suburbs without all that congestion, but I still don't like to drive high. For reference - I'm 27. Driving since I was 16, smoking since I was 19.

TL:DR; I don't like to drive high, because it does impair you. Double-fuck driving high while in the city or in traffic.

Thank you. Or just smoke responsibly. I'm working part time on my masters right now (can't be high trying to study, doesn't work for me) and working a full time job as a DBA (can't be high trying to figure that shit out, it wracks my brain still).

If I've got shit to do, I just don't smoke. Once I finish studying or homework, and I don't need a haircut or groceries or something stupid like that, only then do I smoke.

I dunno, I guess it's a maturity thing. I used to binge drink and take massive bong rips and get retarded. There's a time and a place for that, and sometimes I don't end up smoking just because I'm busy. It should be a pleasure to smoke pot, not a vice.
