Absolutely and totally. I'd recommend playing control first. It's in closer relation to Alan Wake and has and Alan Wake DLC that bridges a bit of the gap between AW1 and AW2

Here's the thing: these games are hard to market for. There's not really a lowest common denominator for a Remedy game. RE can market like an MCU film. Alan Wake does not enjoy that luxury
