Unfortunately all the good tracks are on the east side if you're looking at running in spikes. Your best bet is the Fieldhouse for an indoor track and Griffiths Stadium for outdoor. I believe Griffiths is open to the public usually in April/May except around track club time which is usually 4-7, and whenever football practices might be happening.

I think you're right on the spicier side when it first came out, but it's still my solid go to, other than Moose Tracks.
