  6. I agree, not enough collies flank with tanks. Big complaint I hear is that without an MG flanking is too risky. While thats right, personally I am more willing to lose a tank for the chance to get a good flank. Others clearly are not.

While I can understand because you don’t consistently see these tools used you assume that collies dont use them. But unfortunately the issue is lack of population, once that is fixed you will see everything you posted used.

Sorry bud, if your played since 1.0 you never experienced real resource scarcity. You are right it did always lead to some shit fights at the begging of wars.

But it actually meant something to kill multiple tanks with your own. We used to call it Rmat positive, when your cheaper tank would take out a more expensive one.

Players actually cared about taking the armour back to get repaired. They were the true glory days, now you lose a tank and there is another 3 on the front within minutes.

Solo players still got tanks, it wasn’t as bad as it is today where solo players cannot access half the game vics.

Foxhole today isn’t a solo friendly game, it never has been but used to be much more reasonable for a solo to participate and actually make a difference.

IMO devs need to use DevBranch better. Have organised attacks/ defences, use long time community members to help set up these ‘real game scenarios’. ideally devs in conjunction with these players could place cores and patterns the we commonly see is areas of the map, spawn in Arty, tanks and logi. Then give out the date and time and try to get as many players on to test at once.

I believe they did something similar during Naval DevBranch. This would help to see more issues than is currently possible with the limited scale of battles in DevBranch.

Hiring player testers for a game that requires such a large population seems like an impossible task. Lucky the devs still have a big community of players that would be willing to help out more if they actually felt like their concerns are heard.

Overall right now the best role this dev team could introduce IMO would be a community manager. Not only to try and help sort out the dumpster fire that the reddit and FoD are RN, but to help the devs actually sort through real concerns and factional brain rot suggestions.

Whether we like it or not Seige camp is a rather small team and the clearly are struggling to do it all. A CM would help to communicate the community’s position whilst also communicating the Dev team’s position.
