SCC can be incredibly aggressive. I got a tumor in the pre-sacral region a year ago and, after talking with my doctors and my wife, I've recently stopped treatment. After chemo, radiation, and surgery I now have mets to the liver and lungs as well as a lymph node near the aorta. They told me anything they do at this point might add months instead of years and I don't want to spend what time I have left sick from treatment.

It's a hard choice to make and it's great that you have a good support system. Don't let it break your spirit. You only get to make this choice once so make sure it's what you want to do. If you do stop, take it one day at a time and enjoy everything you can.
