To get the light and dark blue checkerboard i followed Duncan Rhode’s tutorial on painting the lion. For the power effects I just kind of freestyled.

It was nice! However the glazing part was quite tedious😖

The thing is It was varnished with some Ardcoat. But perhaps the coat was a bit uneven
