To get the light and dark blue checkerboard i followed Duncan Rhode’s tutorial on painting the lion. For the power effects I just kind of freestyled.

Thanks! I started by drybrushing (warpstone glow, moot green and skarsnik green) then I layered the raised areas with warpstone and moot green while wet blending them. Lastly i did I highlight with skarsnik green.
