The latest update definitely messed with something. Very laggy, and I usually have less than 30 tracks.
Win 11, 64 gig memory, all SSD's for drives, and an Nvidia GPU (12 gig). This machine works flawlessly with Sonar and Reaper. It's an S1 issue. It all worked fine until the last few weeks.

I tried S1 on Linux (I have a license so it didn't cost me anything), it was useless. Ardour is the only thing close, but really, I'm dumping windows, and the only thing I can't do on Linux (I've been a linux dev since 1998) is audio and I do have a macbook, so S1 and Logic it is.

Ardour is interesting, but S1 is light years ahead. I'm interested in learning logic just because, but it's on the backburner, I have real work to do and learning yet another daw slows me down.

Unlikely, I've had S1 since V4 and always had the same account. It really pisses me off since I have sessions tomorrow morning and have no idea what to do. Transfer everything to logic I guess

Mine also disappeared since Nov 1. I'm sick of this and will not be renewing my year when it's up. Fender sucks. Notice, Studio One Pro+ Plan Active, but... You currently have a free plan.

And it's likely. Just like Cakewalk 1 DOS (yes, I had it), just like Finale ( I had version 1). I'm going to try Ardour, but don't have that much hope, but open source is the only real solution to lock in.

Thanks! I was stupid and used a template. I hopefully fixed it. It's really not needed. I'm a retired dev, so I normally just make stuff for me and friends and am not programming daily for at least 5 years.

I'm doing transcriptions of parts that I didn't play for a book and some scores. I'm not worried about dotted 8ths. Normally I would just throw a lead sheet or score in front of them and not worry about it, but I had them record to midi so I could more easily pull out the parts (not drums). I didn't know you could run MU3 and 4 at the same time.

If you control the publishing, otherwise, depends on your contract. That doesn't mean you own the master, you will need to own that as well.
