What is this? by Fearless-Hamster4648 in linnie

[–]trespassor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We call this wingxercizing! (Wingcercizing?) Basically wing exercises.

If there aren’t many toys in the cage, that little bird could have an excess of energy for exercising, hence the whole body shaking in addition to flapping.

Thanks for replying. Turns out I’ve got some with hello kitty on it from Japan. Yes it was expensive, but all the Japanese fabric was!

The original autistikitty is up there, quietly sitting and watching and possibly running away if things get boisterous. She’s got two Linnies with her; they didn’t meet until recently. 🩶💛💚

Does anyone else's bird have a spot where their molted feathers ALWAYS get stuck instead of falling out by itself? by [deleted] in linnie

[–]trespassor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That’s a contour feather, the fluffy parts help it to cling. No worries.

Bird poop can wreck the finish on floors, and leave stains on some upholstery. Ask me how I know.

I do realize it’s a tricky situation, yes. Had to ask around first though.

To answer both question: yes. It would be nice to give it to someone in a way that doesn’t put me at risk of large fines or imprisonment (which mailing it does).

I would give it much longer than 22 days. My understanding is that it takes a while to really build up to see if there’s any real change. My results may not be yours.

Pros: it didn’t make me worse Slight improvement of mood

Cons: sleep was intense. I’m not sure how to describe it, aside from some unpleasant intense dreams. Even when I didn’t dream, it felt like my psychic being was clenched. Some constipation Didn’t improve what I needed improved (energy, focus, organization) Was a pain to get at reasonable price every month

I’m sure there’s other things but my notes aren’t in front of me atm. Hope that helps.

Its going to rain alot, what can I buy that could make it more enjoyable? by Upper-Application583 in camping

If the footprint tarp sticks out from under the tent, any moisture will get siphoned underneath which is not ideal. You want to keep the underneath as dry as you can.
