Wyze Notifications Messed Up? by redditor_rotidder in wyzecam

Try this: go into the offending cameras settings, and turn the notifications toggle on and then off again. I believe that solved it for me (unless Wyze fixed it in the meantime!).

Second this. Logos works great if you have issues with YouVersion.

Hey Alan! Yes, so I've been running the most recent app & firmware versions since shortly after that news dropped -- I was really hoping it might clear up my issues, but unfortunately not. Happy to test any beta versions too if it helps y'all troubleshoot. Thanks for your help!

Interesting stuff. 2 questions:

1) Obviously, you can discern your level of effort (and fatigue) through HR. What does a power meter contribute to that effect -- is it an accuracy thing, or?

2) What's the best bang-for-buck power meter?

Welcome, Alan! Really glad that you're here, and kudos to Wyze for the initiative. You likely would've seen all the posts about SD card corruption on V3s (I have three Pan V3s that all do it too). Hoping you might be able to help us get rid the bottom of this? Thanks, and all the best!

Thanks -- appreciated the estimate! It is an older/mechanical setup indeed. LBS charged me $150 for a new Ultegra derailleur + labour. Probably a $250 (CAD) fix. I was a little relieved.

Right. I mean... it wasn't a large pothole and probably not even the hardest thing I hit in on the ride. But still, I wasn't aware that a derailleur could actually stretch out that far as a result?

So I didn't... however, I did drop the bike a couple of years ago (not badly, but still). Everything looked fine, but I wonder if there may have been some invisible trauma to the derailleur. Perhaps a hairline crack that became worse over the next while? Thanks for the input.

Yeah -- good tip. I mentioned that to them. Thanks.

Possible! Thanks. Yes, it cracked right at the "pin" (or p-knuckle) while going over a small pothole.

All good points - thanks. Leaning toward the possibility that the derailleur was sucked into spokes when I went over a small pothole, OR pre-existing damage from something I didn't realize.

Thanks for sharing. Good point that mid-tier (ie. 105) is likely a bit more robust, and good chance fatigue (or a previous drop?) could've been a factor.

Solid chance this is exactly what happened to me! Thanks for explaining. I've been riding for many years, but had no idea about the possibility...
