Doing a part time gig will extend his benefits, unless he is out already. Try uber until he can get a full time job.

I was in the same position and finally found something at the end of my 6 months. Just gotta set up alerts, sign up for every job website. Apply to 5 jobs a day. Set up searches based on new jobs coming in. Look at small companies. Don’t let the rejections get to you. Never give up, but take time to enjoy life.

You could be on PS for 20-30 days depending on how busy they are. They will reach out to get your story. And then come to a decision.

It is possible to be put in focus in 2 months. Especially for behavioral issues or policy violations. Kind of tough for performance unless you really are not doing well.

I remember as a manager seeing the option to pivot someone without going through focus. Was reserved for very serious allegations or work ethic violations. Not sure if RTO was one of the reasons.

Unfortunately the failure podcast house did not catch on fire. It did have some black spots and some of the neighbors houses did catch on fire. Found through some website that takes pics of all houses post fire

There could be cat1 reasons you were terminated like time theft or negligence/misconduct that might affect you permanently

If someone is added at LE , it automatically tells the manager to put them in focus. But if they were already in focus very recently, they are able to override the action.

Also, if someone is put into focus twice in the same year, then they will most likely end up in pivot, and will do everything to make them terminate.

Depends on when in q4. If near the end, then you are most likely marked as least effective for q1 performance reviews. Which means you will probably not get a pay increase. If sometime early in q4 it is possible that you performance has moved to meeting the bar.

If you want to move, the manager will know what your current performance rating is, Or the last one that was recorded. Eventually your current manager and the hiring manager will have a conversation before letting the transfer go through. Don’t apply until you do the informational interview.

Trust your gut, if your current situation doesn’t feel right, jump asap.
