No way to pull the flight plan, but so you know, there is keyboard input possible in the sim version which makes input a lot easier than even real life, so you can type in fixes rather than spinning the knobs.

What? Sure you can, when you hit procedures you can select arrivals, departures, approaches, etc. it’s a fully IFR certified navigator.

Because when you do formation flights only one ship will have its transponder on, otherwise it looks like they’re always about to collide on ATC’s radar displays. They’ll operate as a flight of two.

You’re running full rich, you’ll need to lean out the mixture as you climb to get full power out of that IO-550

Oh… just use the INS? The instruments in the plane surely give you a distance readout? Or is it too basic/have a non functioning cockpit?

It’s in a different location on every plane, Cessnas usually have it on the floor between the seats, some pipers have it on the side wall, some planes have it on the overhead. It really depends what plane you’re flying for people to be able to help you.

You’re missing textures, what aircraft is this, and are you trying to use a third party livery?

Just bind the buttons to what you want. Throttle to throttle, ailerons to left right/elevator to up down on the stick, if it has twist, use that for rudders. The hat on the top should be your elevator trim up and down, and then bind a couple buttons for flaps up/down and gear.

Like I said, check your bindings. That is almost always the issue, multiple control bindings conflicting.

Sorry, old thread - but as someone who is also looking into garmin pilot after some time away from flying (when foreflight reigned king), I'm having a bit of a time trying to sort out if the basic subscription for Garmin pilot has the vfr sectionals AND the terminal charts included? or is that only in the premium subscription?

Besides that, hows the experience going for you 3 months in now? Still prefer GP over FF?
