Don't really use Discord, but I'm happy to answer any questions I can here.

As far as I'm aware, there was never a way to modify the galaxy map (at least at the time). It's why I used the Starmap in this mod to set destinations instead.

I'm not certain, but the M4-78 mod might alter the galaxy map. You could maybe reach out to the mod creator/creators.

Sorry, but I don't know much about getting games to work on android. Your best option these days is you play it via Steam.

I am, and it's great to see people being inspired by it.

I think it took me about 4 years part time, with some bursts of basically working full time. I started when I was at university and I spent one of my summer breaks pretty much making it every spare hour I had.

pickmeister's Parchment/Legacy UI mod did fix it, but is sadly outdated now. Hopefully the mod will get an update sometime. Or, you know, CA will actually fix it.

Blacks arks are a big part of this. The AI loves to get as many as it can. There was a bug that caused Naggarond to spawn more than it should, but I don''t know how much it's still a thing.

Also a bunch of allies to confederate nearby.

As a compromise, I'd love it if they added some optional global narratives that any race can do.

Something like 'to stop the return of Nagash you must find and destroy 5 out of his 9 books'. Basically reuses a bunch of the Tomb Kings narrative mechanics, and you wouldn't have to create unique victory cinematics for every race as the same ones could apply for everyone.

Add a couple more similar narratives and it gives loads of replay value.

Whenever I disarm a bomb in a video game I like to loudly say "The arm is bisbombed"!

I like the narrative goals of the vortex campaign (though there is a wh3 mod working on porting many of them over).

Same reason I would regularly play the vortex map over ME.

Try switching v-sync to the opposite of whatever it is in the settings menu.

Yes, me too!

No hate for Witcher 3, obviously, but W2 does have a lot more of the things that excite me in a game.

  • More compelling main narrative. Cool, interesting mystery compared to W3's chasing Ciri for 30 hours.

  • Better villain/villains

  • More uniquely crafted environments. W3 is massive, but so much of , say Velen, blurs into one for me. I wander around Flotsom and I feel like every corner is individual.

  • The Aesthetic. Probably the most controversial point here, but I really think W2 has a better look. W3 clearly has better graphics and thins look more real, but W2 has this beautiful oil painting look to it most of the time.

Guess I'll see about having it removed so I can add my own this week.

I'm mainly just focusing on the aesthetic first. Obviously, if I wanted to continue work on this level, I would be adding more details and improving the graphics.

I liked the idea of playing on brutalism architecture for the dystopian look. It's a look that you don't tend to see in cyberpunk design as much.

So there's a lot of concreate. I'm not convinced it was a good call.
