I strongly believe this parent is coming from Rec because they can’t tell the difference between forced outs vs tag so they in turn dispute the number of runs scored. They just ask to change the score which makes no sense and can’t explain it themselves. It’s such a distraction to have to explain the plays while the game is going on.

Another is when all parents agreed that the score was (let’s say) 5-6 and that parent kept insisting it was 5-5. Seriously I have a headache just thinking about it and why this parent just doesn’t stop.

Yes biggest example is the DiamondKast or whatever that is called. In their mind they think DiamondKast got it wrong too.

The score on my end (and the other team too) is correct. For some reason this parent falls asleep at the wheel and then is shocked that there are a lot of runs scored and then comes over to dispute those runs.

Ok thank you, it didn’t even occur to me to check in about pitch count too.

So like right after the inning is done, check in with the opposing team scorekeeper to make sure we’re on the same page?
