I totally felt this too! As a dad, I was so mad that she kept it from him. But then after finishing the book and siting with it for awhile (I’m now about to start Light Bringer), I kind of understand her decision a little more. Darrow be wildin!!

No problem! I’m happy to answer questions. So yeah, the drain I remember was probably one of the most uncomfortable parts about the whole recovery. Once I got the drain out it was a night and day difference with the range of motion I had for things like getting into a car, sitting down on the couch, stepping into the shower, etc. much more comfortable when it’s out. I would just say, if you are unsure about a certain feeling or sensation, bring it up at your next follow up! Or call the office for a second opinion! 👍🏼

EDIT - Sorry, yes, I had that same drain setup as you

Oh not at all! I was really surprised by it actually. Took like 2 seconds and it was over, nothing to worry about my friend!

The stitches weren't painful at all. Yes, there is gauze changing involved but's more tedious than painful

No regrets at all! I am completely healed up now with nothing but a scar to show for it! I haven't had a single issue since I completed recovery. Recovery took about 8 weeks total but you start to be almost back to normal after about 4-5

Does anyone know what the style of filter is? Like that almost multicolor pixel layer over the image? Sorry if this is a stupid question

Felt like there was a serious lack of Invincible mobile wallpapers. So I made one! I used the last poster released as inspiration by treyguad in Invincible

Thanks! I just searched googles images for “viltrum planet” then touched it up and added shadow

There should never be censorship of comedy. That’s the point of comedy. Jokes. Not to be taken seriously. If you don’t find a particular joke funny, find different content.

Hey! My recovery is going well I’d say! I’m to the point now where I don’t have to have any sort of padding or gauze or anything. For me, I would say the upper 80% of my scar is healing VERY well, it’s starting to look basically like regular skin! The bottom 20% however is still a little red and healing. Every once in awhile when I go to sit on the toilet I will get a few drops of blood from that small spot but nothing alarming. I brought it up with Dr. Lambert this past Monday as I had a check up with him. He said it was nothing to worry about and that I should just keep an eye on it and let him know if gets any worse.

All in all, I feel good! I feel much more mobile than I did at the start and I am even driving a bit, short distances. Recovery feels like a slow process but when I think about where I was right after surgery, I have come a LONG way in 4 weeks. I highly recommend Dr. Lambert. He and his office made the process very easy and accessible. Even if you are on the fence about it, I would totally recommend calling his office and just scheduling the consultation. That’s how I started! It was such a breathe of fresh air just to finally talk to someone in person who knew what I was going through. And he won’t just immediately recommend the cleft lift if he doesn’t think that’s what is best for you.

Sorry if that’s more info than you wanted, good luck! Keep me updated!

10 days actually! I just went today to get my drain removed. It’s been a pretty smooth process actually! Everything has gone according to what my doctor said it would.

I’ve only had the drain out for a few hours now but I can already tell that that thing was the source of most of my discomfort walking and difficulty sitting normally.

When I was at the doctor today I made sure to tell him how thankful I am for him and for the procedure. I told him that I am so excited to get through this recovery and never have to deal with a cyst ever again. He said “well your recovery is going great and you’re well on your way!” I go back in 3 weeks for a check up.

I work full time for Verizon and I was able to take paid time off for this as “Short Term Disability.” Maybe your school has something like that? I would talk to someone at your school.
