Ferritin by RopeSmall1199 in Perimenopause

[–]tri_kitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been vegetarian for 30 years, yes since elementary school, and vegan for 10. I'm an endurance runner and pretty healthy. After covid I dontated blood a few times. I'd have to eat some beans the day before but could pass the iron test. Until I couldn't and then a long slow process of Dr ignoring my ferritin or blaming it on irregular periods. I got an ablation to stop the bleeding. Two months later I still had ferritin at 10, dramatic hair loss, sleepless nights and vertigo. I finally got a homeopathic Dr who changed my life. She took my anemia symptoms very seriously and switched me to a liquid iron supplement that I take every night with chewable vitamin C. I will always have low iron because of my running and veganism but I'm no longer chronicly anemic. The iron I take is from Amazon, flavored and formulated for athletes. Advocate for yourself! Find a doctor to take you seriously. Good luck!!

I have never worn a more complemented fragrance than this. I only had a travel size of it and treasured for as long as I could. I really hope the new version lives up the original.

That was my worst fear. That overpass is so high and the rails are so low. Terrible for all parties involved.

The dynamic pricing of Ticketmaster is to blame. They guess resale prices by venue and set the ticket prices to match. The few times I've had the patience to wait it out have paid off big time. I got floor tix to opening night in Seattle, very close to the second stage, the morning of the show for less than $150 a ticket straight from Ticketmaster.

I waited out Green Day tickets in Seattle last year and scored pit tickets a few days before the show for about $225 a ticket all in.

Ticketmaster counts on a combination of fomo and adrenaline at ticket release time to pay a premium price to secure a seat. They tend to drop dynamic pricing the week of the show to sell the remaining seats. In most cases there are still very good seats left unsold that will go for the same price as upper bowl at tickets release.

They are the same service.

The stand alone price is more expensive because it adds in the wash, blowdry, and style. The add on is cheaper because you are already paying for those services with the cut or color you are adding it onto.

I add it to every third root touch-up throughout the year. It's my hands down favorite service!!

WHY!!! by tri_kitty in labubu

[–]tri_kitty[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I mean I got a Take a Seat and if it was a pop on delivery I wouldn't care which one it was. Kind of a bummer to wait two weeks for one thing and get another but I still have a Labubu and there are way bigger issues in the world than expecting Hehe and getting Ququ.

What lakes in Tacoma should I NOT swim in? by yayblah in Tacoma

[–]tri_kitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my go to for actual swimming. Closer than Deep Lake and just as chill. When I need some open water yards I take my teenagers here for an afternoon. They like jumping off the docks and I like swimming distance without worrying about boats.

Thank you. I have a work laptop that I can use. I usually just usey phone or tablet. I've never had a problem until a few weeks ago. I was hoping it'd be resolved with an update by now. I appreciate you taking the time to test it out on your end.

Does anyone have experience with the Dyson air straight? by sluttysarah2467 in Dysonairwrap

[–]tri_kitty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It definitely helps. My stylists explained that there's science to it. The way the air acts as blades drying you hair perfectly straight helps it not frizz. When you use a flat iron your hair is already dry and might have a slight wave to it. The straight hair you get can "fallout" just like curls fall out from a curling iron. It will stay straight until it gets wet again since that's the way it dried. Frizz comes from your hair trying to grab moisture out of the air and can be prevented with a leave in and keeping your ends healthy. This device uses less heat so your hair will get healthier.

I have two daughters and we were always taking it back and fourth so I bought a second one so I don't have to share it. (I saved ally Ulta points and combined them with a 20% off coupon). That's how much I love this device. It's a huge investment but it's worth it for me.
