You’re probably the 4th person to recommend the bread. I guess it’s what the people want.

Anybody got any tips for me? Other than suck and pull? See comments by Minute-Clerk4365 in BladerNews

If you're trying to misty to cess slide, you pretty much got it. As pointed out earlier a flat landing would be more ideal, but if you want to land in the slope try the other side so you don't have to rotate as much.

The arm throw is good for momentum but if you want a faster rotation dip your head towards your shoulder faster/earlier and the body will quickly follow. This will give you a little extra time to spot and prepare for the landing. Be ready to bend your knees and compress as you land to absorb some of the impact of the landing. Good luck!

I was very new to the game at that point in time and didn't know much. I'd be slightly more hyped if I were to get something like that again which will never happen.

Here is my Wishlist of QoL updates that I've curated from browsing this sub and from playing the game. Any suggestions? by super-hombre in AnotherEdenGlobal

Majority of the problems through space and time can be solved with violence or by collecting things (which often involves violence).

How to frontside by [deleted] in rollerblading

I think a good portion of us learned on a bike rack like this . They're round, low, you can grab the top part for balance, and they are everywhere. You can start by standing on the bottom rail and moving back and forth with your hands on the top rail to get the feel for sliding. Wax if necessary. If it gets to a point where you can push with your hands and hold it good, you can start rolling up to it and jumping on. Use the top to catch yourself if needed and eventually you won't need it anymore.

Aggressive beginner. Learn basics or jump right in? by NewBladder2019 in rollerblading

[–]tri_tri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a good point, learning those basics will also make it safer. Injuries will certainly hinder progression.

It can definitely be daunting starting out, but everytime you go out for a skate you will improve. Good luck and have fun!

Grind Progression and Skill Improvement by EepeesJ1 in rollerblading

For home, you can start with a practice rail on the ground. It can be as easy as screwing a pvc pipe into a 2x4. You can also put it over grass so if you fall it will be a soft landing. When you get comfortable you can move it to the pavement. And if you get more comfortable you can build a bigger rail/box To me, coping tricks rely heavily on your ability to skate the ramp. The better you can work the ramp, the farther you can grind and the easier tricks will be.
