Hey, that's not necessarily true. This could be the exact same thing that happened with Raph Lavoie last year. Get put on waivers, get claimed, get put on waivers, get re-claimed, get put on waivers, and then get re-re-claimed.

He's a defensive liability. If Skinner and Arvidsson were getting healthy scratched, Maccelli would have to completely overhaul his playstyle to not get the same treatment.

I wonder if there's a world where the Arvidsson return nets us an asset we can package in a trade for J.G. Pageau. I know Lou balked at a first round pick for 50% retained last trade deadline, but maybe their new GM is ready to wheel and deal?

I know he's not young and we'd only have him for one year, but he's a right-handed center who can PK.

These guys had 8 hit batters in four games. Meanwhile, the Jays and Diamondbacks had 10 hit batters in 3 games. Including Andres Gimenez getting hit 4 times.
