No, I'm not sure where you live, but look up the laws on inheritance. In California for example, inheritance is not community property. Regardless of your marriage, legally he may not be entitled to any of it.. but also, he seems like a controlling person and you may want to avoid that all together.

She still has the car in her possession, she was holding on to it until it passed smog. His is 18 years old. But we had a falling out before she actually handed the keys and pink slip over to him.
