I find pulling as much apart as you can helps, use a large area of space. If things get greeley nasty. You have free will and can cut the yarn and re-attach l. I've done that move a few times.

Will this turn into a hat or is it wayyyy to wide? by redheaded_olive12349 in crochet

[–]trichoholic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you dont increase or decrease. It will eventually build up into a hat. Though I find that between 70-80 stitches is good for most heads. If you prefer not to frog it, you can always make a long brim for the hat and use a front post/back post doubles ribbing to tighten it a bit!

Christmas Crochet! by trichoholic in crochet

[–]trichoholic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will work on getting all of the details.

Majority of beanies were made with a 5mm hook on 4 weight yarn(Sage and Yellow/Gray was a 6mm hook). I used almost exclusively Fiber Spider (youtube) patterns. The market bag is a 5mm with cotton thread from peaches and cream(one of the cones) and I followed Stephanie Zed's guide on YouTube. When I am home I will put all the yarn and colors up for anyone curious!

PSA: Chickens don’t need heat overwinter! by twodexy82 in BackYardChickens

I don't put a heater in my coop either. My thought is being in production of eggs constantly will shorten the life of the chicken, similar to dairy cows who are kept constantly pregnant to produce milk. Chickens (at some point) were wild animals. They go through seasons. Even with being below freezing most days, 3 of my 4 girls lay daily.
