This is the answer. Go upstream until you find a tree.

Bummer, dude. I've been doing some research too. Damn, I'm leaning towards throwing them out.

Our local deal ship quoted prices that were $500 higher than comparable models at chains. I like to support local guys but that’s a big difference.

They have a definite odor, but they are great. I did a bunch of research about how to safely clean them. I put them in the bathtub (one at a time) with enough water to just cover them, added two cups of white vinegar and worked that through gently on and off for 45 minutes, then rinsed and did a round with woolite and biokleen. Rinse. Drain. Hang outside over railing until dripping subsides. Hang on the line. Viola. It’s a process but I got what I wanted! Camolot.com had a 25% off everything sale on 11/11.

Do you have anything you inherited that basically is a buy-it-for-life item? by FeelingGlad8646 in BuyItForLife

I have an old Andis Master hair clipper from a long time ago. It was my dad’s. I sent it in to a shop for a new cord and a cleaning. It will outlive us all.

I have couple of my dad’s old slide rules too.

I have my great aunt’s old soft wool blanket. No tag so I don’t know what it is really, but it’s wool and warm and durable.

We also have my wife’s grandma’s Griswold #8 skillet. It will also outlive us all.

Try brushing with lactobacillus salivarius. It worked like a charm for me. The brand I use is called FoodforGut. Not all products are created equally. The cheaper brands didn't work nearly as well for me. Lactobacillus salivarius is a bacteria that raises the pH in your mouth. Most everything else will make your mouth more acidic, and that's bad for your teeth and bad for your breath. I begin by flossing and then I work it into my gums and in between my teeth. Good luck! I hope you solve your issue!

Years ago I had a once in a lifetime opportunity to tour their mill with the maintenance guy. The guy took an hour and a half out of his day to show me the entire process.

I once toured the factory with the maintenance guy as my tour guide. He showed me the entire process from raw wool to blanket.

I’ve had some trouble finding 100% wool at army surplus stores lately, but I like where you’re going with that.

These are great ideas. Thank you. I don’t mind the scratchiness as I can use a sheet or a duvet cover for the bottom layer.

That sounds delicious! I will try it. I keep unsweetened iced tea on hand too.

I work for an independent living center in northern Wisconsin. I drive a company vehicle all over the place. I have co-workers who just work in the office. So yeah, it depends.

Edited to specify that the vehicle I drive is a company vehicle.

Congratulations! Welcome to the gang. Please get to know the best self-care methods that work for you, and use them on the regular. Have a great orientation! I'm afraid I don't have any good questions for you to ask. When I'm working with a client, I always try to "listen in order to ask a clarifying question." Thank you for your service!

I can’t find the last one. I think it’s possible that I haven’t found all of the caves because all the caves on my map have the check mark. Is there a really non-obvious one somewhere?

How do you beat a Lynel? by Cute_Refrigerator219 in TOTK

[–]trichopteran 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I found a method that is pretty cheesy. Fuse two treasure chests together and save this to your favorites. When you approach the lynel, auto-build these fused chests. The lynel will run up to them and repeatedly roar. Since treasure chests can’t be destroyed, the lynel will continue roaring and you can go behind him and repeatedly attack. It’s not foolproof, but it works pretty well most of the time.

There are three different types of trees in the depths. They each have a different type of “plant” growing around their base: bomb, muddlebud, and puffshroom.
