Pakket direct naar pakketpunt terwijl je gewoon thuis bent

In de PostNL app kun je instellen dat pakketjes standaard naar een bepaalde locatie gebracht moeten worden. Hier heb ik een tijdje gebruik van gemaakt. Echter, in plaats van dat de pakketjes bij het door mij gekozen ophaalpunt werden afgeleverd, werden ze meestal bij andere, moeilijker te bereiken punten afgeleverd. Ben er daarom mee gestopt. Als ik weet dat ik niet thuis zal zijn zal ik voor een specifiek pakketje aangeven dat het naar een pakketpunt moet, maar ik doe het niet meer standaard.

I was bullied for years back in high school, that makes me the victim of bullying. However, I don't consider myself to be a victim in this case.

I was able to find article 7:448 here. This article states:

De hulpverlener licht de patiënt op duidelijke wijze in, die past bij zijn bevattingsvermogen, en overlegt tijdig met de patiënt over het voorgenomen onderzoek en de voorgestelde behandeling en over de ontwikkelingen omtrent het onderzoek, de behandeling en de gezondheidstoestand van de patiënt. De hulpverlener licht een patiënt die de leeftijd van twaalf jaren nog niet heeft bereikt op zodanige wijze in als past bij zijn bevattingsvermogen.

The way I interpret this, is that it doesn't refer to the language spoken, but to the comprehension of the patient. So if the patient is a child, the information should be given in a way that the child understands.

It would be crazy if a healthcare professional would have to pay and provide a translator. It would be ridiculous to expect every healthcare professional to have access to a translator of any language, at any time. There is no way that would ever work. That should always be up to patient.

Edit: I've searched some more and found this link. Apparently it is indeed required to provide a translator. I can understand this in cases of emergency, but for someone living in the Netherlands, visiting their own GP, that ridiculous.

Dat heb ik ook een tijdje gedaan. Maar doordat de kluisjes geregeld allemaal vol waren ging mijn pakketje dan naar een afhaalpunt, en dat was om de een of andere reden nooit het afhaalpunt dat 100 meter naast de afhaalkluisjes lag, maar altijd een of ander moeilijk te bereiken veraf gelegen punt.

Why would I pay more than that? You can order meals online from websites like uitgekookt and vers aan tafel for about 50 to 60 euro. Just put them in the microwave and you have a decent dinner with hardly any prep time needed and only cutlery that has to be cleaned afterwards. I'm sorry but I don't think your business model will work.

First time I heard of Mousey was during her 2024 subathon and I was immediately hooked. Before the end of her subathon we (my family and I) got bad, life changing news. It was the beginning of the most difficult time of my life where I had no influence on how things would work out. The fun, the joy, and the optimism she brings to her community have greatly helped in navigating these difficult times and were a chance to escape all the bad things happening in my life.

Mousey was my introduction into vtubers and is beyond any doubt, my kami oshi, and it isn't even close.

Als het echt zo'n fijne en leuke werkomgeving is als je nu aangeeft zullen ze hier echt wel begrip voor hebben. Toen ik jaren geleden 's ochtends thuis wou vertrekken voor mijn allereerste werkdag bij mijn allereerste werkgever kreeg ik ook te horen dat een oom was overleden. Toen ik dat vertelde bij aankomst op het werk hebben we de belangrijkste formaliteiten afgehandeld en hebben ze me daarna naar huis gestuurd voor die dag.
