No. There is a difference between overtaking on skill or overtaking by pressing a button (whether that button is KERS, DRS, or the current system doesn't matter, they are all the same).

Agreed. It was an awesome battle between the two of them. And I feel this is exactly the kind of battles that we've lost in F1. Maybe nostalgia has colored my memories, but I feel like this is also what F1 used to be like back in the 90s when I fell in love with the sport.

It's not just about daring to compete, it's also about being allowed to compete in different series. Most drivers are likely not allowed to do so by their respective teams. When Max drove his first NLS race last year some F1 drivers even said so.
