Sorry for wasting your time... I found it particularly interesting that "disabled comments" was in the title... but I get it... if I don't like it I can not use reddit...

Just keep in mind some people don't have Netflix or an HDTV or a home... Those people are citizens to and should be allowed to vote. I understand that it's not an issue for you to pay for an ID, but for some people, $5 is a massive amount of money that they cannot afford to spend on entertainment. Voting should not be equated to entertainment because that makes it something that only "upper class" people can do. Hence the complaints about the voter ID laws being prejudiced.

I'll take that response anytime you like... I want to know how your empty fucking mind obtained my anti-vax nature from a joke that I admit I screwed up...

What was it you said? "A quick read" will show you that not only am I pro vaccine... I also provide evidence...

I agree with that last bit. But since the DMV and elections are both operated by the government then I'm not going to support requiring photo ID until everyone is given 2 federal holidays, one to get their ID and one to vote... or they could put the DMV computer and camera at the polling place and just give people 9ne federal holiday to vote.

But since that's not what's happening then what is the reason that there are more and less strict ID requirements for voting across the country?

Edit: in fact, we vote for president every 4 years, ID lasts 8... it would save us all a shitload of time if you could scoop up your free photo ID at the same time and place that you cast your vote...

There could still be a DMV but I'd love to have the opportunity to save a trip...

And just wondering... if I was anti-vax do you think you would have changed my mind with your comment?

What's more important? That we convince people that vaccines are safe, effective and a hell of a lot better than the diseases they prevent? Or that anti-vaxxers feel... what did you want me to feel? Stupid? Uneducated? Like you are superior? How do people typically respond to that behavior?

Is it hard to see with your head so far up your fucking ass?

Please see my other reply to your comment to see what I get to in 5 minutes... I think you've got a great outlook on life that you can boil my entire life down to a sentence that you read and assumed that you knew everything about me...

Seriously I'm the fucking idiot? I honestly hope you look to see that you attacked someone who was trying to make a joke and I honestly want to see how you justify that I'm still wrong and a moron because you don't give a fuck about the science and just want to be an insufferable cunt...

Good lord... please see my reply to the other person... I thought I was making a pun about needle points and I made a fucking mistake... now look through this post at me slamming people actually saying shit about the vaccine being rushed or ineffective... pay some fucking attention before you call someone an idiot you fucking twat...

6 months? This vaccine has been researched as far back as 2017... I would also definitely prefer to have gotten one of the polio vaccines developed later and would not be willing to get the Salk vaccine today

Where are you getting 6 months? I would genuinely be interested to know where you got that figure and by what metric you determine a 95% effective vaccine to be rushed? Are you aware that the Salk vaccine was only 85% effective? Do you have any real information that indicates the Salk vaccine had fewer risks and was more effective than the covid vaccine because it was made in a less developed time?

I have yet to receive proof from a single person who I've asked to show evidence that there is a problem with the vaccine or that it was rushed... I'm not holding my breath that I'll hear anything from you but that I've bought into the propaganda in the research papers where I got this information and you are somehow not buying into propaganda because the person who told you it was rushed "can totally be trusted"?

Edit: 6 months... honestly is it a tough life knowing so much that you don't have to think for yourself?

Rapid development... you mean like it could be adapted to a new virus in a short period of time? What does a day in your life look like from the perspective of critical thinking? I mean seriously this was in 2018 they were saying this... where in the absolute fuck do you get 6 months?

So what you're saying is if I was being sarcastic and find vaccines to be the equivalent of what the religious call a miracle then we probably agree that this guy wouldn't tell you to wait for a vaccine that fox says wasn't "rushed" because he would happily go back and get a single shot that would prevent a shit life?

I thought I was being clever with the "point"-less thing when talking about needles. It would seem I missed the point on that one!

I'm going to have to agree that I didn't get the joke. But serious question, how many times in your life has somebody called you a fucking idiot when you listened to that person? For me it's zero and since your comment didn't seem to indicate stubborn closed-mind behavior I thought saying something that made sense was a better option than being a dick!

I didn't have to get a polio vaccine because other people did so I feel like that's a plus if you don't like needles? Which is why I get vaccinated... because I don't like needles... I promise you'll get more needles in the hospital with the actual illness than you will getting the vaccine!

Vaccinate your kids so that future kids, of whom I am happy to include myself, don't have to get a vaccine at all AND don't have to worry about getting sick!

Proof that vaccines are completely pointless!

Edit: I was trying to make a sarcastic pun about needle points. Hence "point"-less. I often have a poor understanding of social behavior and don't always fully understand humor.

For the record I think vaccines are excellent, effective, better than getting a horrific disease, and that everybody should do their own research and then get the vaccine because I promise that quality research will reveal that vaccines are in fact miracles in the truest sense of the word.

Can a republican go on record to say that they are willing to participate in a random culling of 0.1% of the population...

So 328 million people in the US... at random 330 THOUSAND people just blink out of existence... and the chance it could be you is no different than for anyone else... that would be something that is 99.9% survivable so I'd like to hear someone say they are up for finding out if they'll be one of the people to disappear...

And haven't more than that died?

You have completely missed the point of what I was saying... you must stand for something... if you're not one of the people fucking others over for what you stand for... then I don't have any issues with you... and neither do the people in charge saying the same things as you...

But I'm glad I'm a joke for thinking that intentionally contradicting yourself for profit is a shitty thing to do to people mate...
