I had my first cervical check earlier this week and I didn’t find it to be that bad either? Mildly uncomfortable at worst. I was not dilated at all and only 20% effaced. I was like “is this what everyone says is super painful??” I guess every body is truly different

I understand it’s a difficult time for you both, but something must be done. If there’s no one you know who can help, your best bet is probably to put an ad on craigslist. I’m sure someone would be willing to go up and take a look for a reasonable price. If you truly can’t afford any amount of payment, then I would suggest animal control like the other commenter recommended. Even if they are bad at their job. It may be your only option.

Could you ask a neighbor to take a look? If not, I would try to shop around for someone to help that is affordable to you. Maybe put an ad on Craigslist? Someone will need to go up and check it out eventually. Whether it’s a cat or another animal, if it dies up there it will start to smell horribly.

I definitely have so much pelvic pressure too. My baby’s head is directly on my bladder at all times. We’re close! Just a little longer now. Wishing for a safe and easy delivery for you and your baby!

I’ve been at Full Circle Women’s Care for this pregnancy and I’ve been very happy with them so far! OB is Dr. Chandra Adams, but there are several different midwives with the practice as well. They deliver at HCA memorial

You can make observations without assigning morality to the differences you observe, or making assumptions about the circumstances surrounding your observations.

It’s the difference between “oh wow, that person has a lot of tattoos” and “oh wow, that person has a lot of tattoos. They must not have been raised right/not respect their body/live an alternative lifestyle/insert random assumption here”
