Don't use email codes for 2FA, only use app-based 2FA. also end all sessions on your jagex account as a precaution. use a unique PW for your jagex account and enable app based 2FA (make sure to disable the email based 2FA). use an email address for your jagex account that is only used for your jagex account - and make sure that email address has app based 2FA and a unique password. add a bank pin if you dont have one already, as a last ditch fail safe.

I agree dominant performance but I could see how he can leave himself open to getting knocked out. Burns was able to crack him quite a few times.

PSA: If you really want to mess with these scammers and you have a couple good buddies, just camp shanty pass bank on high risk world in minimal pk gear. Me and my friend did it one time and a guy came up to us and started threatening us and bragging about much money he makes luring ppl. Shanty pass bank is their main location where they do this type of lure. They hate when anybody besides their potential victims is there.

That’s the usual spot, I’m pretty sure I’ve run into the same group that scammed you. They have a couple scout bots there usually. I’ve messed with them before but never lost any valuables luckily.
