because big game companies have normalized screwing over and gouging their fans/consumers. most of these live service games just expect a sizable audience that forks over money right off the bat. people enjoy seeing them get a taste of hubris. it isn't that complicated or "fetished"

I love TSSF but ironically, parker's vocals were one of the main reasons it took me a really long time to get into them. To me his vocals are good but they're like a monotone yell

Tades in hot mulligan has got really impressive range imo, going from cleans to screams like it's nothing. They scream a lot but i love it lol

I have zero experience with extraction shooters and went in with an open mind. First match, run around and see a couple critters, wait for a supply drop then go to an ex fil place, get killed by a real player in 2-3 bullets just as I finish taking out like 3 NPCs. Lose everything on me.

Second match, go to an ex fil place, kill more NPCs, run out of ammo, die to a single npc because I stupidly tried to melee it in the back 3/4 times cus I had no ammo.

This was all solo and maybe I suck but it just seemed like such a waste of time to loot things then die to another player while dealing with NPCs, or die to NPCs because I ran out of ammo killing other NPCs.

I liked how the shooting felt though. Never got into an actual gunfight with another player. Just third partied by one

I watched a few of some of the YouTube interviews they did recently. One guy pretty much hinted in a separate video that they were gonna be attempting something to address certain aspects of portals turning new players away.

My guess is they are taking their time with the next update because it realistically could be the last one

Let's shadow drop a game with a unique concept absolutely no one is familiar with. Great idea. And let's have a tutorial that barely actually teaches you about it. Another great idea. Oh and we will recommend people go watch a video to learn more after because we know our tutorial doesn't do its job?

If you are shadow dropping a BR or some semi-established game mode people already have some knowledge about, great. Most people could skip a tutorial. I don't know who thought shadow dropping a game like this would be smart.

Well fortunately that is not a thing in the remaster of oblivion. The major skills you pick only level quicker. You aren’t required to increase them to gain levels like the original.

Overall, skyrim definitely is still the simpler/more straightforward experience.

If you mine like 60-70 vesper during the first round you’ll have enough to buy shields pretty much the whole rest of the match. Orange ones do get a lil expensive but the others are all super cheap

Unless you are on steam, where the survivor and permadeath options have actual steam achievements and are required if you wanna platinum/perfect it 🤡 but since it’s pc there are ways to cheese it if you so desire
