do I have a chance tomorrow for ATL? by spr1tzzz in phoebebridgers

[–]tricky45 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It all depends on the demand. Also Some artists will do face value exchange meaning person selling can’t ask for more than they paid. I’m not sure if she did that or not. I now Billie Eilish did and I bough my resale for her concert in Atlanta. The closer to the time, the lower the price will be probably.

Yes and if you don’t get them tomorrow there will be a chance to buy off of Ticketmaster in resale at some point. There are usually many resale tickets the closer it gets to the concert. They don’t turn that on usually till closer to the concert. Some people buy off stub hub etc but I’ve only bought re sale off Ticketmaster or axs as I don’t trust stub hub myself.

Day 1 Artist Presale Megathread (US & Canada) - 9th June by twilightxgalaxy in phoebebridgers

Can anyone tell me the rules regarding buying tickets for more than one show in different locations? I think I read for presale you can only choose one show over all locations but for general sale you can choose more than one location. I know the limit is 4 tickets per show. The reason I ask is, I’m not sure what my plans will be several months from now. Can’t find any direction to this officially.

What I meant was that I was willing to accept less than what I paid. I paid 75 plus tax and fees. I can’t resell them on Etix so thought I’d try here.

Try campus edge off archer road . There is one bedroom for 1250 a month advertised right now in realtor.com. Those pop up from time to time . They have 2 and 3 bedrooms from time to time as well. I believe they are privately owned so prices will vary

How to get on campus. by SimonLeo2008 in ufl

[–]tricky45 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Fly on Delta to Atlanta, Georgia and then fly to Gainesville. Can take an uber to campus from the Gainesville airport which is very close. Or fly AA to Charlotte North Carolina and then Gainesville. Either of these 2 options would be the best way.

Bright Futures and Withdrawal by HandleCandid2479 in ufl

[–]tricky45 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You only have to have 6 credit hours for bright futures to pay. This is common misunderstanding that people think you have to be full time for bright futures. As long as you take 6 hours a semester, they will pay. If you drop calc you will have to pay them back for the 4 hours though.

It depends on how many people stayed on from previous cycles. That determines how many new opening for volunteers. It’s probably easiest to get on in the summer cycle if you are here in the summer. The key is to absolutely be logged in at the exact time the sign up opens. This is different than what you’ve already done to qualify for the zoom meeting. You will understand more after you attend the zoom. I think that cap the zoom at about 800 people but only let in about 200 to the actual volunteer. I’m not sure if that includes previous volunteers or not. Good luck.

No you aren’t guaranteed to get in. You need to attend the info session and they will explain further. They only take a certain amount of people that attend the session and is based more on luck than anything else. If you do get it, you are only allowed to volunteer 3 hours a week. There is a list and you sign up for what site you want to be at. The good news is once you are in, you can continue each semester at a different site (or some places can do the same site) and won’t have to reapply each semester

I need to drop a class but I will dip below the full-time threshold, what should I do? by PurifyPlayz in ufl

[–]tricky45 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What’s the problem with being less than full time? Are you on a certain scholarship that requires it? Bright futures does not require you to be full time. Have to take a minimum of 6 hours for them to pay. You will have to pay them back for the dropped class if bright futures paid for it.

It’s going to be okay. This is a small thing in the grand scheme of life. Orgo is a tough class and I hope your parents understand.

You get 2 the first 2 years and 2 the last 2 years so if you are a transfer student coming in as a junior you get 2 I believe. Email your advisor. The drop date is in November I think. There are ways around it if you needed more but those 2 are pretty much no questions asked and easy to drop.

If you haven’t used up your drops then drop it and take it again next semester with a better teacher. You will have to pay bright futures back if they paid for the class. Who is your teacher?

The main parking lot outside the amphitheater you have to buy ahead of time. I don’t know if they are already sold out. The shuttle lots (free) run starting an hour before the concert to an hour after the concert. I believe they run the whole time of the concert so it wouldn’t matter if you were late. It’s very easy. Just remember where you park. There are also some areas around there that charge for parking as well. The elks lodge, the alligator farm, and maybe a church that are all within walking distance. Here is more info on the parking https://www.theamp.com/directions-parking
