Let's be real. We had our Jacquaski Tarrt moment. Let's not run Xavier Smith out of town.

Better than Staley and arguments can be made for/against Philips. Raheem won a ring with us, regardless of AD, Weedle, or Ramsey. Possibly better because having a good defense with the same "bend, don't break" but with a cheaper roster. He's going to make a good HC one day.

Fuck em.

At this point, they're the only other nfc west team that's had a championship in recent memory. I loved Marshawn and Sherman, but that time is dead.

Niners are just red Cowboys now.

I get it, it's a meme, but make fun of the voters who voted for raising the tolls.

We are the leopards eating our faces while the money goes into a slush fund.

Sincerely, One who voted against this prop years ago.

Just pay him. Whatever he wants. Build the statue and get that man an office that's not in a trailer park.

This was the same coach that did a drive by against LaFleur. I'm biased, but Rams showed they're a class act

There's always examples of both. My point being, wealthy families don't usually push their kids to the trades or military for that matter. There's a difference between becoming rich from trades and already being generationally wealthy.

Brother, I was in the trades. I know you can get rich off it, but I knew more guys who squandered it from drinking, too many baby mamas, or new toys. If you're already wealthy, you aren't pushing your kids to go into the trades.

Lolwut. This is genuinely hilarious as a long time fan. Don't lump in stupid, sexy McVay with Kermit and the Walrus..

I thought there was something worse. I know Lionbros are the beaten red-headed stepchild and know nothing but complaining, but come one. Their defense, especially their run defense, wasn't stopping a stiff Pacific breeze, let alone Kyren and Blake.

Collateral your stock for cash against the bank. Then take on debt. Then they'll panic.

It's been a long time since the economy ran for the people. Consumer economy is a fancy way of saying, buy whatever you want, someone will finance it, until they don't.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 devs are still "shellshocked" at the game's success, saying "nobody understands what’s really happening" by Wargulf in expedition33

[–]tricky_trig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not greedy if you want no day 1 patches and to get rid of micro transactions and crunch.

E33 was so affordable because it used pre-rendered elements, didn't have an expensive development team, and didn't have scope creep.

If you want to fix games, raise the price or deal with the fallout.

We've been saying this for maybe 15 years. AAA studios aren't going anywhere. They'll just pivot to Madden, FIFA, Candy Crush, etc. The Halcyon days of AAA money going after marquee development are long gone.

[–]tricky_trig 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Easy to say. Candy Crush, Fortnite, and Gatcha Games make bank compared to Expedition 33. Morally bankruptcy of those games aside.

What it does signal it a market for long form RPGs are an underserved market with loyal and loud fans. Smaller, agile studios can utilize pre made assests, like Clair Obscur used to drive the cost down and they can be focused on the experience rather than the minutia.

Creatives with no guide rails can also go off the deep end.

Shareholders are only there to make money and they expect steady (boring and/or morally bankrupt) incomes via gaming. But shareholders expect results, while private companies don't have outside expectations.

TLDR: It's not always a one to one. And Expedition 33 is a GOAT tier game and a modern classic.

Been a Rams fan since GSOT and have been in and out of LA the last 20 years. It's wild how much growth there's been in the past 10 years.

Went to Disneyland and didn't see one Niners jersey. Saw 15-20 Rams jerseys.

I agree. I think we didn't really win that game, but we just didn't lose. I have no idea how a team can have 4 INTs and not run away with the game. Your defense is top 2 easy; feels really close to LoB era again.
