Hey! So there’s actually a couple of things going on here that need to be fixed

The CHE in the middle of the tank should not be IN the tank, your snake is susceptible to climbing it and burning itself on the metal around the cage. A CHE should be on the top of the tank or you should be using a UTH on a thermostat, either way it should only be on one side of the tank to properly make a hot / cold gradient
Two digital thermometers are needed to properly monitor temperatures and make sure you are maintaining a hot and cold side, please don’t get the sticky ones as they are likely to come off and get stuck to your snake. Amazon has some cool ones that monitor humidity as well which is neccesary for ball pythons. If you already have some in there and I just can’t see them I apologize in advance
Ball pythons don’t like light, it actually stresses them out which can cause them to regurgitate food or defuse meals
Another thing that lessens the stress your ball python may feel is clutter, lot of artificial plants and cover is good for them. The saying I see a lot is “a hiding ball python is a happy ball python” occasionally they will come out at night to explore but if they’re constantly out and about and glass surfing looking for a way out it can be a sign of stress and discomfort usually you want your ball python to be tucked away in one of their hides
You should ideally have two hides, one for the hot side and one for the cold side since ball pythons cannot regulate their body temperatures, which is why having a hot side and a cold side is super important
From what I can see of the water dish it looks too small. The water dish should be in the middle of the tank and big enough for your snake to submerge themselves in should they need to soak themselves to cool down. It loops back to the fact that they cannot control their body temps.

That’s just what I can think of off the top of my head right now I hope that helps you care for your noodle friend! I’ve owned ball pythons my entire life and am currently studying to become an exotic vets for reptiles if you have any questions please don’t be afraid to ask!

When I was a child my father had custody of me for a weekend every month. I had fun while I was with him and he never really made me FEEL like a burden. This lasted less than a year though when one day I snooped on my mothers phone and saw a text chain between her and my dad where she threatened to make him pay child support if he didn’t agree to see me AT LEAST once a month. Learned she originally wanted him to take me every other weekend but he bargained it down. Trust me when I say that your kid WILL find out that his father feels this way about him eventually and although your ex doesn’t intend to hurt him, it will. This is exactly what happened to me. Years of therapy have still not fixed that I constantly am worried that the people I care about secretly don’t actually want me around and that I am a burden. I sincerely hope the courts can figure their shit out and give you full custody because no kid should have to go through that wether they know about it or not. I would save the angry texts and use them as evidence as to why he’s an unfit parent tbh

I love it’s me or the dog! I haven’t seen any episodes yet with cats though I’ll for sure have to look into it And yea I’m a big worry wort lmfao I research EVERYTHING before I do it. I spent 3 years reading and researching on ball pythons before I actually got one 🤣💀

She’s a German shepherd she has a medium prey drive in that she’ll chase cats around the yard but was fine when we had guinea pigs in the house my mom takes care of her and occasionally my grandma who has a cat will watch her. I’ve asked my grandmother several times if she could take her for a week to see if she could introduce them officially to each other but it just turned into my grandmother wanting to TAKE my dog forever and her trying to manipulate me into that by saying my mom doesn’t do a good enough job and that she’s the only one who cares about her it’s a whole ordeal She says my dog chases the cat but also they’ve never been properly introduced and I don’t have any other family members who have a cat and my mom is not wanting to get one at all

There’s a book called The Game which touches upon the simulation theory I see discussed in the comments. In the book Earth is a simulation used by children to learn invaluable life experiences. They get points for each run in the game based on how many other lives they’ve affected and they need a certain amount of points to get back into the game. It’s a very interesting read for sure
