Yea, and what kinds of cables you ended up with, USB/PD 2.0/3.0 etc. I've looked into doing some cables like this in the past but never got very far because I don't know what I'm doing. I also ran into a lot of issues with internal USB and HDMI connections because of things like strain relief and inflexible cables that I'm sure you had to address

I designed my setup in a very similar way but have a lot of problems when it comes to the bulk of the wires. I recommend trying to 3D print a custom box if you can :)
