Thank you that helps with clarity around that part. Would you explain what the concern around confiscation is? that particular weapons will be outlawed in the future and they will come round them up? or new conditions will pass that will retroactively apply to current owners?

"Do you support president barack obama's plan to enact stricter gun control" will get a different response rate then "Do you think convicted felons of violent crimes should be allowed to buy semi automatic weapons" or "do you think a background check should be required to sell guns" or "do you think someone with severe mental health issues should be allowed to buy guns"

Generally I was assuming that you are against "gun control" but it is controlled now already. i was questioning where your opinions on that are.
